About The System

A group of students were asked to experiment with the Unity package labelled "UI Toolkit" to see what it's functionality could provide and what its applicability is copmared to standard UI. I was one of these chosen students and I had the idea to incorporate a debug tracking system solely with UI Toolkit. This comprised of finding out how to note down a debug, what it should mention, and how it should be stored for future use.

After producing a system that incorporated this functionality it served as a good standpoint for UI Toolkits capabilities. Although it has very dynamic and repeated CSS elements that can be but on any UI element, it proved to hinder more than it helped. As it followed the principles of HTML and CSS elements, the workflow did not suit Unity and C# scripting. Tt was limited in it's animation qualities and object accessibility, resulting in a slower development than if standard UI elements were used.
